All
non-resident licenses in Wyoming are presently issued on a lottery
basis. The most important thing of concern to hunters applying for
permits is getting your applications in by the deadline and properly
identifying the areas to be hunted.
Elk License applications
must ARRIVE in Cheyenne by January 31st.
The deadline for deer and antelope is March 15th; sheep, moose and
goat is February 28th.
The
area varies greatly as to the type and time to be hunted. The best
way to get this information is to check
with us about the time and type of hunting you are interested
in and we will help you with the areas.
Booklets
of license applications may be obtained by requesting the Non-resident
Big Game Hunting Applications and Information Booklet from the State
of Wyoming Game and Fish Dept.
