Grizzly Ranch Wilderness Pack Trips offer you, your family and friends the chance to experience some of the most beautiful back country the nation has to offer. Mountain vistas, rolling streams, and lush meadows await you on your journey thru Wyoming’s wild country.

These trips take you into the Washakie wilderness of the Shoshone National Forest, as well as the remote areas of Yellowstone National Park. We will customize each trip to suit your personal interests, whether they lean towards extended riding, fishing, photography, wildlife viewing, or any combination thereof! The rivers, creeks, and lakes are home to cutthroat, rainbow, brown, and brook trout. You will be sharing the woods with the elk, mule deer, moose, coyotes, bald eagles, grizzly bears, as well as many waterfowl, and birds of prey. Nature at its finest!

Grizzly Ranch will provide you with a sturdy, experienced horse. All the gear goes on the pack train, made up of our long-eared friends. The mules not only pack the gear, but make for pretty good evening entertainment. The staff of cook, wrangler and guide work hard to keep you well fed and comfortable. They hope to enhance your experience with their love and knowledge of the wilderness.

These summer pack and fishing trips run $300.00 per day, per person. These are great family trips and you don't have to be a fisherman to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
